Adult Basic Education
The Paynesville Area Community Education Program offers Adult Basic Education and General Educational Development preparation classes at Paynesville Area Community Education Adult Eduation Center
The A.B.E. class is for those seeking help in improving their abilities in reading, writing, or math. Classes can also offer help to persons wanting to learn how to balance a checkbook, write job resumes, or fill out forms.
The G.E.D. class will help to prepare those individuals who wish to take the G.E.D. tests.
Students work in small groups or one-on-one with the instructor toward goals they set for themselves and can attend as often as they wish.
These courses are offered to any person 16 years of age or older who is not enrolled in a secondary school program. These classes are free of charge and individuals interested can enter at anytime throughout the year.
